Gary Fixter -The beginning and the resumption of a soccer game
Gary Fixter- A coin will be thrown and the team that wins the draw will decide the direction in which it will attack in the first half of the game.
The other team will make the kick-off to start the match.
The team that wins the draw will execute the kick-off to start the second half.
In the second half of the match, the teams will change from midfield and attack in the opposite direction.
Take-out The start-up is a way to start or resume the game:
At the beginning of the match.
Having scored a goal.
At the beginning of the second half of the game.
At the beginning of each additional time, where appropriate.
A goal may be scored directly from a kick-off.
Gary Fixter — Process
All players must be in their own field.
The players of the opposing team to the one who will perform the kick-off must be at least 9.15 m from the ball until it is played.
The ball will be motionless at the center point.
The referee will give the signal.
The ball will come into play when it is played with the foot and moves forward.
The thrower may not touch the ball a second time before it is played by another player.
After a team scores a goal, the opposing team will take the kick-off.
Contraventions / penalties In the event that the thrower touches the ball a second time before it is played by another player:
An indirect free kick will be awarded to the opposing team, which will be launched from the place where the offense was committed. For any other violation of the kick-off procedure:
The kick-off will be repeated.
Ground ball The ground ball is a way to resume play after a necessary temporary interruption, when the ball is in play, because of any incident not indicated in the Laws of the Game.
The referee will drop the ball where it was when the game was interrupted.
The game will be considered resumed when the ball touches the ground.
Contraventions / penalties The ball will be dropped again:
If it is touched by a player before touching the ground.
If the ball leaves the field after touching the ground, without having been touched by a player.
Gary Fixter - Special circumstances
A free throw awarded to the defending team in their goal area may be launched from any part of that area.
An indirect free kick awarded to the attacking team in the opposing goal area will be launched from the goal area line parallel to the goal line, at the point closest to the place where the infraction occurred.
A ball to ground to resume the game, after the game has been temporarily interrupted within the goal area, will be executed in the goal area line parallel to the goal line, at the point closest to the place where it was located the ball when the game stopped.
